Berry Has Success Against Cross Town Rivals

Both Men's and Women's programs had a successful day against Shorter University, as both teams played in exhibition games against their cross town rivals.  The men prevailed by a score of 15-7 on the back of strong man up play, going 6-9, and a strong defensive performance, only giving up 1 goal in the 2nd half.  Berry also played with great discipline by committing zero penalties for the entire game, which helped give them the advantage.  This was a great confidence builder for the team as they enter into their inaugural game against Millspas College on Feb 27th at 1PM at Berry College, and we hope to see the Berry fans in full support.

Below is a link to a write up on both the men's and women's games, found in the Rome News-Tribune.  Enjoy.
