Holiday Gifts Sent to Charlie Company Phantoms

Over a month ago the Berry College Men's lacrosse program began to sponsor the Charlie Company Phantoms, 5th Battalion, 101st Combat Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division.  This effort is part of the program America Supporting Americans, which links military units stationed abroad with Americans back states side.  Over the past three weeks the Berry Men's Lacrosse has been collecting donation's for the Phantoms, and has sent these donations to the Phantoms as a holiday gift.

Here is are the guys after collecting donations during the Berry/Oglethorpe Basketball game at Berry.
This is the Company patch for the Phantoms.  The White star represents SSG Brandon Silk, who was lost on June 21st.

Charlie Company Phantom is a Blackhawk unit who's main objective is to supply air support for ground forces, as well as air assault support for conventional and nonconventional forces.  The Phantoms are company which is 46 members strong and are based out of Ft Campbell in Kentucky.

Over the season the men's lacrosse program will be doing what they can to support the Phantoms as they are stationed in Afghanistan, as well as pulling inspiration from them and their efforts as they enter their inaugural season.  They're excited to build this relationship and hope to do their part to help support the military personal at home and abroad.

  1. Gentlemen,

As a member of the Phantoms, I cannot express what this meant to find this article. I was not a Phantom during their last deployment, but I am currently deployed to Afghanistan with the best Air Assault Company in the United States Army! On behalf of former and current Phantoms, we appreciate your support!
