Over 7,000 Attend Homecoming  At Berry College

Mountain Day is an annual celebration of Berry College founder Martha Berry’s birthday with picnics, marches, and a whole host of activities. The golf scramble and raucous Mountain Day Olympics kicked off the weekend on Friday. The Olympics pit various residence halls against each other and a faculty/staff team for bragging rights in the hula hoop contest, tug o’ war, pyramid building and other fun competitions.

Marthapalooza, the night carnival in the shadow of the Ford buildings,

was a big hit Saturday with record attendance.
